Multi-party video on any Mac G4, finally

Let the Mac G4 owners rejoice! Finally, we can video chat with other PowerBook, iBook and Mac mini users SIMULTANEOUSLY without a G5 host. Introducing PowerBoost, a software that allows any G4 Mac to host and participate in 4-way video chat.

My friends and family have been waiting for a product like this forever, because none of us has a G5, so we felt left out in the cold, especially since we've all upgraded to Tiger, and most of us already have our iSight. Sure, multi-audio conferences are fun, and we use it all the time, but it's nothing like multi-video conferencing capable in Tiger for G5 owners.

So lately we've been trying to persuade one another and even people we don't all know to get a new iMac G5 with built-in iSight, telling them how cool it is, just so we can finally try a 4-way video chat. So far, none of them caught the bait. Now they don't have to.

PowerBoost requires a G4 with Mac OS 10.4 and iChat AV 3 and iSight. If your Mac meets these requirements, go to Ecamm Network to download a demo. These guys make great software for iChat and iSight.
