A costly coat of paint

I'm still trying to figure this out. The new MacBook comes in white or black. The two higher end models have identical specs, except for a 20GB hard disk difference and color. The cheaper one costs US$1299 and in white; the other, US$1499 and only in black. I know upgrading from a 60GB (white) to a 80GB (black) isn't worth US$200 more, so that means I'm paying most of that extra dough for a coat of black paint. Is Apple insane? Does it seriously think it can charge a premium for a different color case and Mac devotees would still flock to buy it? Would you pay US$200 more for a black MacBook based on its current spec? Please leave your comment. If enough of you think it's justified, then it might convince me of the same. After all, I have a black iPod nano, and the black coating on the MacBook looks a perfect match, doesn't it?
